Job Title: Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Summary: Barry Industries, Inc is offering an excellent opportunity for an individual to become a key contributor to our QA team.
We are critical suppliers of sophisticated Thick Film electrical components to the telecommunications, military, and aerospace industries.
We have an aggressive management team that pursues operations excellence and are seeking a quality expert to join us in our deployment
of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives. This position requires an energetic, passionate professional with a pro-active
mindset who can and will assist as we build a world-class continuous improvement culture.
Job Responsibilities:
ISO 9001:2000 Quality system maintenance
Structure department as we incorporate new quality tools
Develop and maintain quality plans
Identify causes of quality issues and implement corrective actions
Development and refinement of workmanship standards
Coordinate quality activities throughout the supply chain
Position Requirements:
Degree in Engineering or related technical discipline or Associated degree (Electrical preferred) and equivalent experience
· Minimum 3+ to 5 (5+desired) years of Quality, Engineering or related experience in the electronic component industry.
Demonstrated leadership, project management, facilitation and problem-solving skills.
· Experience with quality improvement tools and techniques (i.e., Lean, SPC, Control Plans, FMEA and PPAP) is a plus.
Must demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills. Thorough knowledge of International Standard ISO 9001-2000 Quality Systems.
Certification by the American Society for Quality (ASQ) as a Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) preferred.
